Expert Group Meeting – Natural Language Processing in Action: Evaluation of AI-Systems
The next NLP Expert Meeting will focus on the topic of “Evaluating AI Systems”. Join us on September 16th at our regular venue – ZHAW on Lagerstrasse. As always, we will feature three great speakers.
- Katherine Munro will reveal how Swisscom bootstrapped the evaluation of their newest conversational AI models, despite having no baseline or benchmarks to work with
- Florian Schottman will explain how Supertext addresses the myth of human parity in machine translation and their lessons learned for evaluating LLMs
- Pius von Däniken from the CAI at ZHAW will discuss how to Judge Not by Metrics Alone
Join us on September 16th at 17:30 at ZHAW Lagerstrasse, 8004 Zurich. The presentations will take place from 17:30 to 19:15, followed by the apéro downstairs at 19:15.
