“The IB AI Shaping Workshop helped us to deeply understand the needs of regulatory consultancy firms and map their workflows. With this foundation, we defined the key user journeys, prepared regulatory datasets, and tested the first outputs of our AI pipeline. These insights were crucial for shaping our MVP (GSPR Checklist and Regulatory Opinion) and provided us with a clear direction for implementation. The Booster enabled us to sharpen our idea, validate the business case with pilot partners, and prepare for the next stage of innovation funding.

Thanks to the Innovation Booster, we were able to deploy our first real-life prototype: an AI-driven reconfigurable room at the AI Startup Center in Technopark Zurich. Observing how users interact with a space that responds, adapts, and configures itself in real time unlocked a new layer of understanding. We learned not just what’s technically feasible, but what’s truly desirable when AI becomes an invisible orchestrator of everyday environments. This direct exposure to user behavior in an intelligent space was key to validating our vision and pushing the boundaries of what smart living can become.

Fabio Zuliani, Founder & CEO Miros Technology

The Innovation Booster allowed us to test our lexplorer AI agent in a realistic setting  and observe how aspiring lawyers actually conduct legal research – step by step, from formulating queries to drawing legal conclusions. It was especially insightful to identify where the AI agent provided real value and where hurdles emerged. With these observations, we now have a solid foundation to further refine and develop our agent.

Yves Rutishauser, Co-Founder ByteStudio

The Deep Dive workshop was a complete success. Together with our partners, we took necessary steps toward a data-driven, AI-assisted approach to compliance performance management—refining CKPI classifications, identifying key requirements, and laying the groundwork for a modular dashboard with real-time CKPI visualization and adaptive governance.

Stefan Hunziker, Full Professor Lucerne School of Business
