About IBs
Innovation Boosters are a community with an open innovation culture in which key players work together with agile and user-centric methods to explore problems and develop sustainable new ideas for radical solutions collaboratively. In doing so, they give Swiss companies and organisations a competitive advantage and create important added value for the Swiss economy and society.

“The Shaping Workshop of the AI Booster was a decisive step in developing our AILAS-Tool – the AI Law Supporter. The pressing need to create a tool to navigate the legal landscape of the AI act was expressed by the participation of a diverse expert crowd ranging from academics and startup representatives up to consulting firms that provided valuable input to the first version of the tool. We look forward to continuing the project based on this user-input.”

“The Innovation Booster Artificial Intelligence program has been instrumental in advancing our project, providing both intellectual and financial support to establish a proof of concept in collaboration with Hes-So Fribourg – Biofactory Competence Center, DataHow AG, and Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. We are evaluating an automated high-throughput screening platform from Beckman Coulter, integrated with an AI-powered Digital Twin from DataHow, to accelerate bioprocess development. We are grateful to the Innovation Booster Team for their support in refining our business case and shaping a clear roadmap for success.”

“The Innovation Booster Artificial Intelligence shaping workshop was a real enrichment for us at smartconext AG. Right from the start, we felt the perfect support and professionalism of the Innobooster team. They were at our side every step of the way and guided us through the entire process with their expertise.
I would particularly like to emphasize the financial support, which is invaluable, especially for young companies like ours. These funds enable us to further develop innovative ideas and boldly drive them forward.
The program is a real springboard for young companies that want to establish themselves in the field of artificial intelligence. We are very grateful to the Innovation Booster team for the excellent collaboration and the exceptional support we have received.”

“The AI Booster program allowed us to turn our ambitious Speech-to-Speech AI concept into a working prototype at the Verkehrshaus. Our startup Gaudio aims to make cultural experiences more engaging through an app that offers AI guides for visitors to converse with during museum visits. Without the support of the Data Innovation Alliance, our startup would have struggled to bridge the gap between our technical AI expertise and the practical needs of museums. The program’s emphasis on rapid iteration and real-world testing pushed us to refine our user experience, resulting in a product that’s not just technically impressive but genuinely enhances how visitors interact with cultural exhibits.”
Luisa Lager, Co-Founder, Mindmode GmbH/ Gaudio -
“The Innovation Booster Artificial Intelligence gave us a unique opportunity to explore and test new directions for our technology. The expert-led workshop helped us ask the right questions and test our ideas directly with relevant stakeholders. We gained fresh insights, forged valuable connections, and walked away with a clear path forward.”
